Your Pool Planning Checklist
We think it’s very important that you know exactly what to expect when you decide to build a custom pool on your property. Even before design and construction begin, there are some very important factors to consider:
- Check With Your HOA – The first thing you need to do before you call any swimming pool contractors is check in with your HOA. Some HOAs will have special permitting requirements that you need to fulfill before construction begins. Also, you may need to check back in with the HOA’s neighborhood architectural committee once you have the design and plans for your pool.
- Check Your Property – Keep in mind that large, heavy machinery will need to be present on the jobsite (your backyard) for construction. This may disrupt your pets’ routines and may cause inconvenience for your neighbors. Make sure you talk to your neighbors about the project and make sure your pets have a place to play, eat, and do their business.
- Get City Permits – This is something we can help you with if you run into complications. Still, you should call your local permitting office to ask about the kinds of permits you will need to pull before excavation begins.
- Create A Budget – It’s great to have ideas on what you want your pool to look like and what kind of features you want it to have; but before you go overboard, you should have a fixed budget for the project. Consider how much you can comfortably afford and look into financing options. Here at Tribal Waters Custom Pools & Spas, we work with some of the most reputable and reliable lenders in the Phoenix area in order to offer you a variety of financing options that fit your budget.
